Adult Leg for X-Ray/CT and MRI is a part of our Adult Full Body Phantom for X-RAY/CT and MRI training [FB-A01] that can be purchased independently. The leg phantom has a joint at the knee for flexibility and motion. It connects the lower leg with the upper leg (thigh). These two parts can be disarticulated as per needs.

This X-Ray CT and MRI Leg Phantom can be used to take X-Ray images of the full leg. The model includes synthetic bones made out of realistic patented bone-mimicking material. The X-Ray Leg Model is perfect for radiology schools for training and learning different settings of X-Ray without the danger of exposing an actual patient to harmful radiation.
In terms of MRI applications, the phantom tissues have realistic T2 relaxation time values, which makes this product to be the best fit for any T2-weighted MR imaging methods. Very good results can also be achieved with Proton Density imaging methods. The phantom can still be imaged with T1-weighted methods, but the T1 values are less realistic, and they are within the range of about 100 ms.
The bones are embedded in a realistic tissue-mimicking material that can be either transparent or opaque. The X-Ray Models may differ in size and shape. Due to production technology, there may be discoloring and cracks inside the phantom. This is related to production and is no lack of quality.
