Adult Human Torso Advanced R&D

The design of this phantom is based off an average human anatomy. The bones installed inside this Torso are made out of realistic patented bone material that is suitable for X-RAY CT & MRI applications. It can be used for diagnostic imaging research and training.Adult Human Torso (Advanced) with a beating heart is a lifelike phantom/simulator, anatomically realistic, from neck to pelvic area with all the essential organs present inside. This phantom can be made compatible with X-Ray/CT and MRI. It is an ideal tool for applications such as angiography. The organs, bones, and body tissue mimics closely that of an adult human body.

In terms of MRI applications, the phantom tissues have realistic T2 relaxation time values which makes this product to be best fit for any T2-weighted MRI imaging methods. Very good results can be also achieved with Proton Density imaging methods. The phantom can be still imaged with T1-weighted methods but the T1 values are less realistic and they are within the range of about 100 ms.

The design of this phantom includes the realistic heart with all major heart vessels and internal heart chambers. The TPS heart pump is included with this phantom and it enables the realistic heart beat and motion of heart walls.
