COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – Position Statement



Our response measures are aligned with the advice provided by Australian Government Department of Health, State Health Authorities and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

InMed Healthcare is conducting ongoing and real time reviews to determine if additional measures are needed.

General Hygiene and Safety
All staff have been instructed to no longer share workspaces and limit contact whilst in the office. Communal areas are now restricted and staff are to practice regular hand washing and sanitising as required.

Product Deliveries and Safety

Where applicable all deliveries from outside sources are quarantined for 72 hours from the date of shipping to ensure that the COVID-19 survival period on hard surfaces expires.
If the shipping date and arrival date are within 24 hours for all external cardboard shipments, then they are handled with disposable gloves along with the internal contents.

Outbound shipments are handled and packed by one company individual whom has not come into contact with any of the known risk factors as flagged by the relevant departments of health.


Our people will need to work from home for 14 days and seek medical clearance before they can return to work if they:
• are returning to Australia from any overseas location.
• have had close contact with someone who has or is suspected of having COVID-19
• have symptoms of COVID-19 (a cough, high temperature, shortness of breath)
• have been living in a household with a confirmed case – the 14 days starts after the other householder’s symptoms have gone.

Our staff will need to stay away from the office if they have any flu-like symptoms or are feeling unwell.
